The key is used to dismantle and assemble Shimano Hollowtech II, Truvativ, FSA Magaexo, Campagnolo Ultra-Torque and many other bottom brackets with outer bearings to adjust the crank.
One side of the key operates the grooves of the bottom bracket cups, the other operates 8 internal notches of the crank arm adjustment cap.
